The beginning of my… how-many-th blog?

Beginning anything is hard, but continuing it is harder.

I don’t have the best track record with maintaining blogs, or anything where I’d write regularly. In the age of Blogspot.com when I was a wee babe I made about five blogs and didn’t update any of them. Later I made a Medium, but I’ve been feeling like Medium doesn’t let me a website that I call my own, and I wanted *~*creative control*~*.

But I’ve been having all these ideas for things I’ve wanted to tell people, and they’re too tantalizing for me to not want to get out there. I had a newsletter among my friends where I’d shout things at them, e.g. “the Big 5 is rubbish!” “Watch this video where a farmer serenades his cows with a trombone!” “My inner feelings match this miniscule storyline in Fallout New Vegas!”

Why a blog? The medium honestly doesn’t matter for me, but I figured a good ol’ blog was probably the best for my intentions.

Also it’s more okay if no one reads a blog.

I’ll be talking about things that are important to me, in any form, of any content. I have two goals:

a) I hope you’ll learn/take away something from my posts (or at least have something new to talk about at parties), and b) I hope you’d have gotten to know me in the process.

We’re all friends here, and I mean that with all sincerity.
